Mr King works in a shop and drives a car for the manager. He drives carefully and can keep calm in time of danger. And he escaped from several accidents. The manager pays him more and the traffic policemen often speak highly of him.

Mr. Baker, one of his friends, works a factory outside the city. It’s far from his house and he has to go to work by bus. As the traffic is crowded in the morning, sometimes he’s late for the work. His manager warns the young man will be sent away unless he gets to his office on time. He hopes to buy a car, but he hasn’t enough money. He decides to buy an old one. A man once had a dream about the Black Forest in Germany. In his dream he was walking in the forest when two men ran out and tried to throw him to the ground. Have you ever heard your own voice? “Of course,” you say.

Has anyone else ever heard your voice? Again you say, “Of course.”

But that’s not quite true. Nobody else has ever heard your voice—the way you hear it. When you talk, you set up sound waves(声波). The air outside your head carries the sound waves to your outer ears. But, of course, the sound of your voice begins inside your head. The bones(骨头) of your head pick up the sound waves, too. They carry the sound waves straight to your inner(里面的) ears. It costs millions of dollars to train and send astronauts (宇航员) into space. Very few countries can afford this.

American businessman Dennis Tito paid 20,000,000 US dollars to the Russian Space Agency (俄罗斯宇航局) to into space. He visited the International (国际的) Space Station. His trip, making him the first ever space tourist, took eight days. He spent most of his time taking photos, looking at the earth and listening to music on his once-in-a-lifetime trip.

After landing safely back on the earth, Mr Tito thought the trip was worth the money. The only difficulty he had was walking but this is normal (正常的) for anyone who's been in zero gravity(地心引力).

Mr Tiro received training before he left. He also helped to cook food for the others while in space. They told him what to do and where he was allowed to go.
